Group Volunteering with Habitat
Organize a special volunteer opportunity for your group, team or club by planning a Team Build. Team Builds with Habitat for Humanity provide a unique, fun and rewarding experience for any group. No previous construction skills required.
What's a
Team Build?
Habitat provides the tools and training you need for a successful and rewarding Team Build experience.
Group construction projects are a powerful way to strengthen workplace skills while building stronger relationships, improving communication, developing leadership, and fostering trust. It’s also a meaningful way to demonstrate your organization’s commitment to the community.
By participating in a Team Build, your team helps break the cycle of poverty, strengthen our community, and build a brighter future for a local family in need.
What does the Team Build Program include?
From $250 to $100,000, the Team Build program offers a customizable and impactful day of service for your business, team, or club.
1) Support:
Local businesses and organizations can contribute through pledges, gifts, and talents to help build homes for families in Jackson County. Habitat welcomes supporters of all sizes and capacities.
2) Labor:
Building one Habitat home requires over 2,000 volunteer hours. Team Builders provide volunteer crews—skilled or unskilled—ages 16 and older to serve on our construction sites.
