2024 Housing Program

Rogue Valley Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce another affordable homeownership opportunity in the beautiful town of Ashland!

On Monday, May 13th at 6:30pm, Habitat for Humanity Rogue Valley will host an informational meeting to share homeownership program details, qualification guidelines and specific Ashland build information with interested applicants. The orientation will take place in the
Wesley Hall at the Ashland First United Methodist Church 175 N Main St Ashland, OR 97520.

These orientations are not mandatory but highly recommended.

Information listed below will answer many questions regarding the requirements needed to qualify for this specific 2024 homeownership opportunity in Ashland. Many other questions will be answered at the orientation meeting or you may find answers by reviewing our "frequently asked questions" section.

Special 2024 Ashland Project Income Guidelines

This project will follow special income requirements to coincide with Ashland's Affordable Housing policy and minimum sales price (see chart below). Also, additional credit-based qualifications specific to this project may be required. 

These homes will follow Ashland Affordable Housing Standards (Ashland Ord 18.2.5.050).

Applicants must currently reside OR work in Jackson County to be considered for partnership in our housing program.

Ashland must be a viable living location for the applicant. 

 

Applicant(s) must not have owned Real Property within the last three years.

(For purpose of this application, a manufactured home where the space was rented is not considered Real Property and would qualify).

At least one of the program applicants must legally reside in the United States with Permanent Resident status or United States Citizenship. This person must also be the source of the qualifying income.

Housing applications will be available beginning Monday, May 13th at 5pm. You will be able to download and print from our website or printed copies will be available at the Habitat Admin Office.

5pm on Friday, June 14th, 2024.
