Our ReStore offers new and quality used home improvement and building supplies to the public at greatly reduced prices. The ReStore also carries furniture, paint, household items, miscellaneous house décor, and office supplies. Inventory changes daily!

Interested in Volunteering at our ReStore?

Our Medford ReStore relies on dedicated volunteers to help keep operations running smoothly and support our mission. Below are some of the volunteer opportunities currently available:

  • Cashier – Assist with customer purchases at the register. Volunteers must be 18 years or older and pass a background check.

  • Donation Center Assistant – Help sort, organize, and process daily donations as they arrive.

  • Merchandise Organization – Arrange and maintain merchandise in designated departments throughout the ReStore.

  • Customer Service – Greet and assist customers, answer questions, and provide a welcoming shopping experience.

  • Cleaning & Preparation – Clean and prepare donated items to ensure they are ready for the sales floor.

  • Donations Support – Assist staff with donation pickups, unloading the ReStore truck, and sorting donated materials.

Volunteering at the ReStore is a hands-on way to support affordable housing in our community while gaining valuable experience in retail and customer service.

Volunteer Requirements

To ensure a safe and positive experience for all volunteers and staff, the following requirements apply to ReStore volunteers:

  • Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Those under 18 must have a parental authorization and minor waiver form completed prior to volunteering.

  • Volunteers assisting with donation pickups or working on the ReStore truck must be at least 16 years of age.

  • Volunteers must be able to safely lift between 25–50 pounds, depending on the assigned task.

Some Facts About Us

  • The Rogue Valley ReStore began operations in 2003.
  • On average 100,000 pounds of materials are kept from the landfill each month because of the Rogue Valley ReStore.
  • ReStore items are sold at approximately 50% or more below retail value.
  • Over 50,000 items are donated annually to our Medford location.
  • The Rogue Valley ReStore is one of approximately 700 Habitat stores located nationally.
  • The ReStore operates with limited staff, volunteers are necessary to operate the store.
  •  Habitat’s partner homeowners may earn sweat equity by volunteering in the ReStore.
  • The ReStore does not sell items on consignment or purchase inventory.
  • Our ReStore offers FREE curbside pickup of your donation for most addresses in Jackson County. 
  • You will receive a tax deductible donation receipt for all your ReStore contributions.
