2022 Housing Program

Rogue Valley Habitat for Humanity is excited to begin Phase 1 of our upcoming build in Ashland, Oregon. This phase is for the first four units that will be three bedroom/two bath.

Applicants must currently reside OR work in Jackson County to be considered for partnership in our housing program.

Ashland must be a viable living location for the applicant.

The size of this unit must be appropriate for the size of your household. Phase 1 applicants must have a minimum household size of four individuals.

Phase 2 will consist of homes smaller in size that will accommodate household sizes of 1-3 individuals. We expect to begin seeking applicants for Phase 2 in late 2023.

Applicant(s) must not have owned Real Property within the last three years.

(For purpose of this application, a manufactured home where the space was rented is not considered Real Property and would qualify).

At least one of the program applicants must legally reside in the United States with Permanent Resident status or United States Citizenship. This person must also be the source of the qualifying income.

The homes built by Habitat for Humanity in the Beach Creek Subdivision will fall under the City of Ashland's Affordable Housing program. For 30 years, these homes will have limited resale to low-income qualified buyers as well as limited equity appreciation at a defined monthly rate.

All information regarding this program can be found in the "Copy of Ashland Affordable Housing Rules".
