Feb. 11th- Singles
Build Day Habitat wants you to join!!! 20 single men & women will come together to meet new people while building a home for a family in need. By giving a $20 donation you will cover the building materials for the day, lunch on job site and a sweet Habitat T-shirt. We only have enough space for 20 volunteers, to reserve your spot please call 541-779-1983 or email habitatvc@roguevalleyhabitat.org. Come build with love this Valentines Day! March 24th- Cardboard City Event This event is geared towards local youth groups, ages 10-18!! Local youth groups will be given three hours to design, build and decorate a cardboard shack, joining together in friendly competition for a day of poverty awareness. All family, friends and community members are welcome to attend! Youth groups will be working in partnership with Habitat for Humanity to raise awareness and funds to help build new homes in the Rogue Valley. The winning youth group will win a grand prize with additional prizes for second and third place winners! |
